The College of New Jersey recognizes the achievement of highly motivated, talented and intellectually curious applicants who seek a rigorous, enriching academic environment.  TCNJ is proud to invest in students who have shown strong academic potential, as evidenced by their transcripts, standardized test scores, and co-curricular involvement.   As such, all students applying to TCNJ are automatically considered for merit-based scholarship support.

Starting with the 2014-2015 application cycle, financial need has begun to play an important role in some of the scholarship determinations made by Admissions.  All first-year applicants who wish to be considered for institutional need-based scholarships will be required to submit the FAFSA by February 15th.  Students must also submit a FAFSA by March 1st in order to be considered for federal and state-based aid.
