Chairman of the Board – Board of Trustee Scholarship
This scholarship is open to first-year students. Awards are based on academic ability; an assessment of talents, experience, and potential; and a holistic review of how a student might contribute to a diverse educational environment. Preference will be given to students from one of New Jersey’s Abbott School Districts, students who are traditionally underrepresented, or to students who have shown interest in an area of study that the College believes will contribute to its overall mission. Accepted candidates will automatically be considered for these scholarships, which range from $4,500 to $10,000 annually for four consecutive years as long as the student maintains a 3.0 GPA.
Bonner Community Scholarship
The Bonner Community Scholars are a diverse group of students who share a common desire and commitment—to work as part of a team (of students, staff and community members) that strives to improve the quality of life in the Trenton area. This four-year student and community development program provides students with opportunities to enhance their own skills while promoting positive change and social justice. In return, Bonner students receive an annual scholarship which can cover from 50 to 100 percent of their tuition bill (financial need may be considered). Participation in the program includes community service (300 hours per year), as well as co-curricular and curricular opportunities that develop students’ skills as citizens and community leaders.
